This petition has been filed to direct the respondents to register the complaint given by the petitioner herein dated 24.03.2016 to the first respondent under appropriate Sections of SC/ST Atrocities (Prevention) Act, 1989.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the State. 3.

It is seen that the complaint dated 24.03.2016 given by the petitioner is pending with the first respondent. Since allegations under the SC/ST Atrocities (Prevention) Act, 1989, have been made in the complaint, the first respondent is directed to conduct a thorough enquiry and close the case with due intimation to the petitioner or proceed further in accordance with law.
