ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to withdraw and transfer the case in Crime No.237 of 2016 on the file of the second respondent and to entrust the same to the City Crime Branch, Chennai or any other investigation agencies for further action.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents.

3. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that investigation in Crime No.237 of 2016 has been completed and when the Police went to serve the RCS notice on the petitioner, he refused to receive the same.

4. The respondent-Police is directed to file a closure report before the jurisdictional Magistrate, so that the petitioner can file a protest application in accordance with law. The respondentPolice is also directed to send the RCS notice to the petitioner by registered post within one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
