O R D E R

The petitioner seeks for mandamus directing the respondents to consider his representation dated 07.11.2016, wherein and whereby, he sought for removal of certain encroachers from the land belonging to the Wakf Board.

2. The learned counsel for the first respondent submitted that such representation will be considered and appropriate orders will be passed by the first respondent, within a time stipulated by this Court.

4. This Court, at this stage, is not expressing any view on the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, as it is for the first respondent to consider and decide the same, on merits and in accordance with law. Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of, only by directing the first respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 07.11.2016 and pass orders on the same on merits and in accordance with law, after giving due opportunity of hearing to the petitioner as well as the other parties concerned. Such exercise shall be done by the first respondent within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
