..Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for the issuance of Writ of Mandamus directing the third and fourth respondent to conduct effective and fair investigate in the UTS scams and trace all the BDMs and recover proceeds of crime to the tune of Rs.1300 crores with respect to FIR in Crime No.3 of 2019 on the files of fifth respondent and Crime No.13 of 2020 on the files of sixth respondent under the monitoring of this Court by considering the petitioners' representation dated 12.03.2025. O R D E R
This petition has been filed seeking a direction to the third and fourth respondents to conduct an effective and fair investigation into the UTS scams, trace all the BDMs involved and recover the proceeds of crime to the tune of Rs.1300 crores, in connection with Crime No.3 of
2019 on the file of the fifth respondent and Crime No.13 of 2020 on the file of the sixth respondent, under the monitoring of this Court, based on the petitioners' representation dated 12.03.2025.
2. Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side and perused the materials placed on record.
3. The learned Government Advocate (crl.side), on instructions, would submit that the investigation in Crime Nos.3 of 2019 and 13 of 2020 has already been completed and the final report has been filed before the Tamil Nadu Protection of Interests of Depositors in Financial Establishments Court, Coimbatore on 28.10.2024.
4. Recording the submission made by the learned Government Advocate (crl.side), this Writ Petition stands closed. However, if the petitioners furnish any new information regarding the properties of the accused, the fourth respondent is directed to take appropriate action for attachment of such properties in accordance with law. Further, the Trial Court is directed to take cognizance of the final report in Crime Nos.3 of
2019 and 13 of 2020, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and proceed with the trial in accordance with law. No costs.
