Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for the issuance of writ of Mandamus, directing the first respondent to consider and pass orders on the appeal preferred by the petitioner dated 18.06.2015, challenging the orders of the 2nd respondent issued in Pa.Mu.No.387-23397-T6-TNSTC-2013-15 dated 27.03.2015.

Mr.P.Kannan Kumar, learned Standing Counsel takes notice for the respondents.

2. The petitioner was employed as a Conductor in the respondent Corporation. He was dismissed from service by an order dated 27.03.2015 of the second respondent. The order of dismissal itself states that there is an appeal provision available to the petitioner before the first respondent. As against the said order dated 27.03.2015, the petitioner preferred appeal on 18.06.2015 before the first respondent. Since the said appeal is not disposed of, the petitioner is before this Court.

3. In view of the narrow prayer made, without going into the merits of the appeal dated 18.06.2015, the first respondent is directed to consider and dispose of the appeal filed by the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

petitioner, dated 18.06.2015 on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
