Respondents Prayer:- Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a Writ of mandamus directing the 2nd respondent to pass orders on the proposal dated 23.09.2015 sent by the 1st respondent within a stipulated time period.

ORDER

By consent, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal. Mr.R.Balaramesh, learned Additional Government Pleader accepts notice on behalf of the 1st respondent and Ms.T.Girija, learned Government Advocate [Coop.] accepts notice on behalf of the 2nd respondent.

The petitioner, at present, is working as Fitter-II in *Cheyyar Cooperative Sugar Mills Ltd Anakavur, Thenmadalam Cheyyar Taluk, Tiruvannamalai District and the 1st respondent, for filling up the post of Fitter-I, had also forwarded a proposal during the year 2013 as well as on 23.09.2015 in RC.No.326/13/E1 to the 2nd respondent and however, the 2nd respondent is yet to pass orders on the said proposal and therefore, the petitioner came forward to file the present writ petition.

Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.R.Balaramesh, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the 1st respondent and Ms.T.Girija, https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

learned Government Advocate [Coop] appearing for the 2nd respondent.

This Court, taking into consideration the above facts and circumstances, directs the 2nd respondent to act on the proposal/communication sent by the 1st respondent dated 23.09.2015 in RC.No.326/13/E1, on merits and in accordance with law and pass orders within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision taken, to the petitioner as well as to the 1st respondent.

The writ petition stands disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
