ORDER
The present miscellaneous petition has been filed seeking to condone the delay of 522 days in representing the above criminal appeal.
2. Heard Mr.S.Ramesh Kumar, learned counsel for the petitioner and Ms.J.R.Archana, learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondent.
3. Satisfied with the reasons stated in the affidavit in support of the petition and also considering the inordinate delay, this Court considers it appropriate to allow this petition on payment of costs. Accordingly, this miscellaneous petition is allowed and the delay of 522 days in re-presenting the above appeal, is condoned subject to payment of Rs.500/- (Rupees Five Hundred only) as costs to the Tamil Nadu State Legal Services Authority (TNSLSA), High Court Campus, Chennai 600 104, within a period of two (2) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, failing which, the petition shall stand dismissed automatically, without further reference to this Court.
