O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondent not to harass the petitioner in the guise of investigation/enquiry in Crime No.127 of 2022 pending on the file of the respondent.

2. It is the contention of the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner that under the pretext of enquiry in Crime No.127 of 2022, the police is repeatedly calling the petitioner and unnecessarily harassing him. It is further submitted that the petitioner is under medical treatment and hence, prays for a direction to the respondent not to harass the petitioner.

3. The learned Government Advocate [Criminal Side] on instructions submitted that on the complaint given by one Shanmgam, the police have registered a case in Crime No.127 of 2022 and the respondent has issued notice to the petitioner for enquiry.

4. Such being the position, the Investigating Officer shall issue notice or summons to the petitioner by fixing a date for enquiry and conduct enquiry and the petitioner shall cooperate with the investigation and the Investigating Officer shall proceed as per law.

5. With the above directions, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
