This writ petition has been filed for issuance of Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents to conduct the DNA test by taking semen and blood samples of the petitioner's husband Vijayakumar and blood samples from the petitioner and pass further orders.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents would submit that the accused is arrested recently and the respondents will take steps to complete the investigation within a period of two months.

4. Recording the said submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this Writ Petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondents to conclude the investigation and also take steps to conduct the DNA test, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
