ORDER
The petitioner who was arrested on 18.03.2021 and remanded to judicial custody for the offences under Sections 147, 148 of IPC and Section 7 and 25(1A) of Arms Act, in Cr.No.4159 of 2020 on the file of the respondent police, seeks bail.
2. The case of the prosecution is that on the date of occurrence, when the Sub Inspector of Police, who was on Patrol Duty, intercepted Swift and Fortuner cars, he found that this petitioner along with other accused persons in possession of 4 patta knives. Hence the complaint was registered. 3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner has not committed any offence as alleged by the prosecution and he has been falsely implicated in this case. He would further submit that the petitioner is in judicial custody from 18.03.2021. Hence, he prays for grant of bail to the petitioner.

4.The learned Government Advocate Crl.Side) submitted that there are two previous cases pending as against the petitioner. He would further submit that the petitioner is a close associate of one Nedunkundram Surya who is a notorious accused, involved in 55 other cases. Hence, she vehemently opposed grant of bail to the petitioner.
5.Considering the fact that there two previous cases pending against the petitioner and the gravity of the offence, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. 6.Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. -sd/- 20/05/2021 This order, on being produced, be punctually observed and carried into execution by all concerned TRUE COPY Sub-Assistant Registrar (Statistics/C.S.)
