Respondents PRAYER : Writ petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the first respondent to dispose the stay petition M.P.No.250 of 2015 in A.P.No.2015 pending on the file of the Appellate Authority, the 1st Respondent herein.

2. Heard Mr.A.Muthukumar, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.M.Dig Vijay Pandian, learned Additional Government Pleader who accepts notice on behalf of the respondents 1 and 2.

Mr.A.Muthukumar, learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that aggrieved over the order passed by the second respondent on 06.10.2015 in T.R.No.1 of 2012, the petitioner has preferred an appeal before the first respondent on 21.11.2015. It is further submitted that the petitioner has also filed a stay petition in M.P.No.250 of 2015 along with the appeal. So far, no order has been passed. Hence, the present Writ Petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking for the aforesaid relief.

4. This Court, considering the submissions of the learned counsel for the petitioner and without going into the merits of the case, directs the first respondent to consider and dispose of the stay petition in M.P.No.250 of 2015 in unnumbered A.P.No....... of 2015, filed by the petitioner and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Till such time, the respondents 1 and 2 are directed to maintain status-quo.
