PRAYER: Criminal Miscellaneous Petition filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C, to modify the Deposit amount imposed to the petitioner on 03.07.2020 in Crl.O.P.No.10079/2020 on imposed condition to the petitioner to deposit a sum of Rs.40,000/- (Rupees Forty Thousand Only) as non-refundable deposit to the credit of the Arigna Anna Memorial Cancer Hospital @ Research Institute, Kancheepuram.

The petitioner has filed this petition to to modify the Deposit amount imposed to the petitioner on 03.07.2020 in Crl.O.P.No.10079/2020 on imposed condition to the petitioner to deposit a sum of Rs.40,000/- (Rupees Forty Thousand Only) as non-refundable deposit to the credit of the Arigna Anna Memorial Cancer Hospital @ Research Institute, Kancheepuram.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner hail from very poor family and he is working as a wages due to covid pandemic and lockdown he lost his work for the past 4 months, since the petitioner was unable to deposit the above said deposit amount to Arignar Anna Memorial Cancer Hospital @ Research Institute, Kancheepuram, he prays to modify the said condition.

3. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondent.

4. Considering the submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, the condition already imposed on the petition is modified and that the petitioner shall deposit a sum of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand Only) to the credit of the Arignar Anna Memorial Cancer Hospital @ Research Institute, Kancheepuram.The other conditions imposed by this Court shall remain unaltered.
