Challenging the awards passed in M.C.O.P.Nos.216 to 218 of 2016, the petitioner preferred the above Civil Miscellaneous Appeals, however there is a delay of 351 days in representing the above Civil Miscellaneous Appeals arose. Hence, the present petitions have been filed to condone the delay in representing the above appeals.

2. Mr.D.Bhaskaran, learned counsel for petitioner submitted that the above Civil Miscellaneous Appeals were returned for rectifying certain defects on 28.03.2024 respectively, which was duly intimated to the Regional Office, Chennai and they in turn instructed the concerned Divisional Office to forward original appeal deposit receipts and on receipt of the same, he has represented the above appeals. Hence, there is a delay of 351 days arose in representing the above appeal and the said delay caused is neither willful nor wanton, but for the above said reasons. Accordingly, he has filed the above petition. 1/3

Considering the facts and circumstances and on considering the reasons stated by the petitioner in the affidavit that due to administrative reasons, the appeals were not represented within a stipulated time and to give one more opportunity to the petitioner, this court is inclined to allow the above petitions. Registry is directed to number the above Civil Miscellaneous Appeals if it is otherwise found to be in order. 23.06.2025 rpp 2/3
