ORDER
The petitioner who was arrested on 17.04.2021 and remanded to judicial custody for the offences punishable under Sections 341, 294 (b), 323, 324, 397, 336 and 506(ii) of IPC in Cr. No.217 of 2021 on the file of the respondent police, seeks bail. 2.The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner/A2 herein along with the other accused persons have robbed a sum of Rs.1,200/- and a cell phone from the defacto complainant at knife point, which resulted in the registration of the complaint. 3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has not committed any offence as alleged by the prosecution and he has been falsely implicated in this case. Hence, he prays for grant of bail to the petitioner. 4.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) submits that it is a case of robbery. He further submits that the petitioner/A2 has 5 previous cases of similar and other heinous nature against him. Though it is the submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in the present case, however, considering the fact that the petitioner has five previous cases pending against him and also the gravity of the offences, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. 6.Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. -sd/- 20/05/2021 This order, on being produced, be punctually observed and carried into execution by all concerned TRUE COPY Sub-Assistant Registrar (Statistics/C.S.)
