This petition is filed to condone the delay of 85 days in preferring the appeal.

Heard Mr.A.Vinothraj, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.V.Achuthanandan, learned counsel for respondents 1 to 5. Despite notice having been served, none appears for respondent 6.

Having been satisfied with the reasons stated in the affidavit filed in support of this petition and since there are no serious objections, the delay of 85 days in preferring the appeal is condoned. Accordingly, the petition stands ordered.
