The present petition is filed by the accused in C.C.No.4700 of 2013 pending on the file of the III Metropolitan Magistrate, George Town, Chennai-1. 2.The learned Government Advocate(Crl.Side) would contend that the Inspector of Police, Central Crime Branch, Bank Fraud Team, Egmore, Chennai-600 008, after conclusion of investigation in Crime No.662 of 2010, filed a final report in C.C.No.4700 of 2013 before the III Metropolitan Magistrate, George Town, Chennai-1, against the present https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
petitioner and since that the entire Crime No.666 of 2010 was closed by the Hon'ble Supreme Court in Civil Appeal No.165 of 2018 @ SLP (C)No.30560 of 2016, the proceedings in C.C.No.4700 of 2013 Pending on the file of the III Metropolitan Magistrate, George Town, Chennai-1, can be quashed. He also filed a copy of the order of the Hon'ble Supreme Court. 3.Recording the submissions of the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side), the proceedings in C.C.No.4700 of 2013 is quashed and the present petition is allowed. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous petition is closed.
