ORDER

The petitioner who was arrested on 23.04.2021 and remanded to judicial custody for the offences under Sections 392 and 397 of IPC in Cr.No.134 of 2021 on the file of the respondent police, seeks bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner had waylaid the defacto complainant and snatched a sum of Rs.1150/-. Hence, Hence the complaint was registered.

3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner has not committed any offence as alleged by the prosecution and he has been falsely implicated in this case. He would further submit that the petitioner is in judicial custody from 23.04.2021. Hence, he prays for grant of bail to the petitioner. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4.The learned Government Advocate Crl.Side) submit that the petitioner had waylaid the defacto complainant and snatched a sum of Rs.1150/-. He would further submit that there are six previous cases pending as against the petitioner. He would further submit that the petitioner is a habitual offender and he is involved in number of cases including SC/ST case. He would further submit that the investigation is still pending. Hence, he vehemently opposed grant of bail to the petitioner.

5.Considering the fact that there six previous cases pending against the petitioner and the gravity of the offence, in such circumstances, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.
