ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by The Hon'ble Chief Justice) We have heard Mr.K.Rajasekaran, learned counsel for the petitioner; Mrs.R.Anitha, learned Special Government Pleader for the first and second respondents; Mr.A.S.Thambusamy, learned counsel for the third respondent; and Mr.M.Nandhakumar, learned counsel for the fifth respondent.

2.Learned counsel for the fourth and fifth respondents submits that respondent no.4 is no more.

3.Learned Advocate for the third respondent submits that notice under Section 133(5) and 135 (1) and (2) of the Tamil Nadu Urban Local Bodies Act, 1998 has been issued to respondent nos. 4 and 5 on 14.08.2023.

4.The steps are being taken by respondent no.3. 5.In view of that, the purpose of the writ petition does not survive now. The writ petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
