Respondents --- Prayer: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issue of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to remove the encroachments made on either sides of the roads at Gandhi Nagar, Old Bus stand, Sathurangapattian - Chengalpet - Kanchipuram - Arakkonam -Tirutani till Krishna Polytechnic and Thiruvallur - Arakkonam, and to remove the electric poles erected at the stretch from Jothi Nagar to Stuartpet, so as to regulate free flow of vehicular traffic and to remove the encroachment from the railway under bridge to S.R. Gate belonging to the Highways Department based on the representations of the petitioner dated 31.01.2015 and 17.05.2015.

(Made by The Hon'ble The Chief Justice) On hearing the learned counsel for the parties, we direct that the representation of the petitioner dated 31.01.2015 read with reminder dated 17.05.2015 be disposed of within a maximum period of one month of the receipt of the order. If the allegations as made by the petitioner are found to be of merit, the necessary corrective action be taken within a maximum period of three months from the disposal of the representation.
