ORDER
This Writ Petition is for issuance of a mandamus, directing respondents 1 to 3, to provide adequate police protection for the safety, security and protection to the lives and property of the petitioner and their vendors, general public, management officials, staffs and other workers from the illegal acts of the delinquent members of the 4th respondent Union, their henchman and supporters.
2. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that at present there is a cordial relationship with the petitioner and the Union and hence, the petition has become infructuous. The learned counsel for the petitioner would further submit that if there is any requirement in future, the respondents may provide adequate protection on the request of the petitioner.
3. Since the apprehension expressed by the petitioner is no longer in existence, this writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. It is needless to say that as and when there is any request for police protection, the respondents may consider the same on its merits. Consequently, the 3/6
