This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the first and second respondent police to provide adequate police protection to the petitioners and petitioners' family members in the complaint dated 06.07.2020.
2. It is seen from records, on receipt of the said complaint from the petitioners, the third respondent registered the FIR in Cr.No.1663 of 2020 for the offences under Sections 147, 148, 294(b), 352, 506 (ii) of IPC. Even after registration of FIR, the third respondent did not take any action as against the accused persons and did not secure them. Therefore, some accused persons have trespassed into the petitioner's house and threatened the petitioners and their family members. In this regard, the petitioners also lodged another complaint on 06.07.2020 and the same was also registered by the fourth respondent herein.
3. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the third respondent is directed to conduct enquiry on the complaint lodged by the petitioners dated 06.07.2020 and take appropriate action as against the accused persons and complete the
investigation in connection with Cr.No.1663 of 2020 and file a final report within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
With the above observations, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
