PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 2 and 3 herein to provide police protection to the petitioner's life and her property bearing Survey No.570/5 measuring about 00099 Square meter situated at Ambedkar Nagar, Pennadam, Thittagudi Taluk, Cuddalore District, by considering the representation of the petitioner dated 28.10.2020 and 21.02.2021.

This petition has been filed seeking to direct second and third respondents herein to provide police protection to the petitioner's life and her property.
2. In this regard, the petitioner already lodged a complaint before the third respondent on 02.05.2020 and she was issued https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
C.S.R.No.146 of 2020. Thereafter, the third respondent conducted detailed enquiry and the same was closed as civil in nature. Subsequently, for the very same set of allegations, the petitioner lodged another complaint and she was issued C.S.R.No.65 of 2021. On such complaint, again the third respondent conducted detailed enquiry and the same was also found to be dispose of civil in nature and closed on 24.02.2021. Further, the petitioner was advised to approach the Revenue Authorities for appropriate relief, but without approaching the Revenue Authorities or Civil Court for appropriate relief the petitioner filed the present petition.
3. Considering the above facts and circumstances, this Court is of the view that this Petition is devoid of merits. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is dismissed. However, the second respondent is directed to serve a closure report in C.S.R.No.65 of 2021 to the petitioner, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
