PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition filed under section 407 of Cr.P.C., to transfer the C.C.No.6 of 2016 pending on the file of the C.C.No.6 of 2016 from the learned Special Judge for cases under the Prevention of Corruption Act, Chennai to any other competent Court.

The learned Counsel for the petitioner seeks permission of this Court to withdraw the petition, seeking for a limited prayer directing the trial Court to complete the trial at the earliest in due compliance of the order passed by this Court in Crl.O.P.No.21285 of 2018, dated 31.08.2018, wherein this Court had directed the trial Court to complete the trial preferably within six months and he has also made an endorsement to that effect.

2. In view of the submissions and endorsement made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as withdrawn. Further the trial Court is directed to complete the trial within six months in due compliance of the order of this Court dated 31.08.2018 in Crl.O.P.No.21285 of 2018.
