ORDER

The Writ Petition has been filed in the nature of a Mandamus seeking a direction against the respondents to grant appointment to the petitioner on compassionate grounds. The petitioner had filed an appeal questioning the order of the second respondent. The appeal was filed on 08.03.2023 and is now pending before the first respondent.

2. In the affidavit filed in support of this petition, the petitioner had stated that the he sought compassionate appointment, consequent to the death of his father who was working as Village Assistant in Angarankuppam Village Panchayat in Vellore District and who had died while in service on 21.01.2006.

3. Since the matter is now pending consideration in appeal before the first respondent, it may not be proper on the part of this Court to examine any further facts.

4. A direction is issued to the first respondent to examine the appeal dated

08.03.2023 and dispose the same within a period of six weeks form the date of receipt of a copy of this order. If any clarifications are required, a communication may be sent to the petitioner and the petitioner may answer to the said clarification and provide required details.

5. The Writ Petition stands disposed of, with the above directions. No costs.
