Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the 2nd respondent to consider the representation dated 29.6.2015 for the allotment of a seat in the 1st standard admission for the petitioners son namely P.Sanjay in the respondents school and direct the respondents to admit the petitioners son namely P.Sanjay in 1st standard within a time frame that may be fixed by this Honourable court.

O R D E R

The petitioner would submit that the Atomic Energy Central School is affiliated to Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) and the petitioner had applied for admission of his son namely, P.Sanjay in the month of February, 2015 for I Standard. The petitioner would claim that his father is an ex-service man and presently working as Senior Security in the State Bank of India, Kalpakkam Branch and one seat is reserved for the staffs working in the State Bank of India. Hence the said quota seat is to be allotted to his son and in this regard he has also submitted a representation dated 29.06.2015 to the second respondent and since no orders has been passed, came forward to file this writ petition.

2.Heard the submissions of Mr.A.Anilan, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and gone through the materials placed before this Court.

3.This Court taking into consideration the limited scope of prayer sought for by the petitioner and without going into the merits of the same, directs the second respondent to consider and dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 29.06.2015 in accordance with law and pass orders on or before 23.07.2015 and communicate the decision taken, to the petitioner.
