ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for a mandamus to direct the second respondent to consider and dispose of the representation of the petitioner, dated 25.4.2014, in respect of the forgery committed in respect of the petitioner's lorry bearing vehicle No.TN-29-AZ-1402.

2. It is the case of the petitioner that she is the owner of the lorry bearing Registration No.TN-28-AZ-1402, which was purchased through hire purchase agreement with Sundaram Finance and one Gopi used to pay the hire charges for the vehicle. The said Gopi, by forging the signature of the petitioner, sold https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

the vehicle to some third party, for which, the petitioner lodged a police complaint. It is also stated that the petitioner gave a representation dated 25.4.2014 to the respondent not to make any mutation in the records, without comparing the transfer forms with that of the official records. Since no orders have been passed on the said representation, the petitioner is before this Court with this representation.

3. Heard the learned counsel for the parties.

4. In view of the limited relief sought for by the petitioner, suffice it to direct the second respondent to consider and dispose of the representation of the petitioner dated 25.4.2014 on merits and in accordance with law. Such exercise shall be completed within a period two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. The writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs. Connected miscellaneous petition is dismissed.
