Respondents Writ Petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing 1st respondent to disconnect the EB connection in service No.511-005-362 effected in petitioners land in Survey No.222/3 Thirukoilur (N), Thirukoilur, Kallakurichi district in Patta No.460 based on the representation dated 21.01.2025.

O R D E R
The writ petition is filed with a prayer directing the respondents to disconnect the EB connection that is granted to the second respondent by considering the representation of the petitioner dated 21.01.2025.
2. When the matter came up for hearing, Mr.Swami Subramanian, Learned Counsel appearing on behalf of the first respondent would submit the second respondent has obtained an interim order before the civil court.
3. The Learned Counsel for the petitioner in reply would submit that the entire suit and the injunction are all with reference to the encroached portion of the land in S.No.849/1. However, the grievance of the petitioner is that the electricity connection is given in the land belonging to the petitioner herein.
4. In view of the limited nature of relief that is granted in the writ petition, the writ petition is disposed of the admission stage without notice to the 2/5
second respondent.
(i) The first respondent shall take up the representation of the petitioner dated 21.01.2025 and issue notice to the petitioner as well as the second respondent. The first respondent shall conduct an enquiry and pass final orders thereon in accordance with law.
(ii) The aforesaid exercise should be completed within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of the web copy of the order without waiting for the certified copy of the order.
There shall be no order as to costs.
