Respondents Prayer:- Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, forbearing the Third Respondent herein to consider the representation of the Petitioners dated 12.03.2019 and forthwith permit the Petitioners to operate their taxis. (through video conference) Heard Mr. R. Krishnaprasad, Learned Counsel for the Petitioner, Mr. B. Logeshkumar, Learned Counsel appearing for the First Respondent, Mrs. P. Rajalakshmi, Learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the Second and Third Respondents and Mr. R.T. Chindambaram, Learned Counsel appearing for the Fourth Respondent and perused the materials placed on record, apart from the pleadings of the parties.

When the matter is taken up for hearing today, it is informed by the Learned Counsel appearing for the Petitioners that the Third Respondent by order No. Aa2/2673/19 dated 15.05.2019 has passed orders on the representation made by the Petitioners and he has produced a copy of the same and also filed a memo to that effect through email dated 21.07.2020, which is placed on record. In view of the aforesaid subsequent events, nothing remains for further consideration in this Writ Petition. However, this would not preclude the rights of the Petitioners to assail the aforesaid order, if they are aggrieved, before the proper forum in the manner recognized by law.

The Writ Petition is disposed on the aforesaid terms. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed. No costs.
