ORDER
The above writ petition has been filed seeking a mandamus to the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 09.07.2025 seeking to transfer him to any Government College in the post of Physical Director forthwith, with all consequential and attendant benefits.
2. It is the case of the petitioner that he was appointed as Physical Director in the 3rd respondent College in the aided post on 20.06.2001. He had put in over 24 years of service and continues to hold the sanctioned aided post till date. The petitioner would submit that for the past several years, there have been no admissions in the aided stream in the 3rd respondent College and therefore, no workload was assigned to him, however, he draws salary for the said sanctioned aided post from the Government. This issue was taken before this Court in W.P.No.25446 of 2021 and this Court vide order dated 18.09.2024 had directed the respondent-College to surrender the post of Physical Director to the Government. This Court further directed the Government to transfer and accommodate the petitioner in any Government College. The respondent
College also communicated the surrender of post to the Government. Thereafter, the petitioner had also submitted his representation on 09.07.2025 seeking transfer. Despite the same, the respondents have not taken any steps to transfer and accommodate the petitioner in any other Government College till date. Hence, the petitioner is before this Court.
3. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and also perused the materials placed on record.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and also taking into account that there was a direction of this Court vide order dated 18.09.2024 in W.P.No.25446 of 2021, a mandamus is issued to the respondents to consider and pass orders on the representation of the petitioner, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
