This petition has been filed to call for the records pertaining to Cr.No.1407 of 2014 on the file of the 1st respondent and quash the same.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the State.

3. On a perusal of the case diary it is seen that there are sufficient materials for the police to proceed with the investigation in Cr.No.1407 of 2014. Hence, the same cannot be quashed. However, the respondent police is directed to conduct the investigation and file a Final Report in Cr.No.1407 of 2014 within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
