Prayer: The writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a writ of Mandamus, directing the 3rd respondent to take appropriate action against theft of water from the Common water pipeline connection and to provide water service to the petitioner residents of Arumuga Gounder Layout, Shivasakthi Colony Extension, Periyakottai Village, Udumalpet, Thiruppur District uniformly by considering the representation of the petitioner herein dated 03.04.2017 and 10.05.2017.

Heard Mr.R.Nalliyappan, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, Mr.K.J.Shivakumar, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents 1 and 2 and Mr.M.Perumal, learned Government Advocate appearing for the 3rd respondent. 2.The petitioner made two representations interalia alleging https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

that unauthorizedly water has been tapped and thus, affecting the supply.

Despite the representations, no action is forthcoming. Hence, the present writ petition has been filed. 3.Considering the above, a direction is issued to the 3rd respondent to take appropriate action on the representations of the petitioner dated 03.04.2017 and 10.05.2017 within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order after affording an opportunity of personal hearing to the petitioner.

4.With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
