The petitioner seeks a direction to the first respondent to consider his representation dated 02.12.2023 and his reminder dated 05.02.2024 within time fixed by this Court.
2. According to the petitioner, the subject land is a Punjai Tharisu in R.S.No.7 measuring 12.34 acres in Vadugapalayam Village, the same was purchased by the petitioner to establish the industry to enable him 2/6
to apply for development of the land. He has submitted a representation to the first respondent to re-classify the land from Punjai Tharisu to one for industrial purpose. The said representation has not been considered by the first respondent till date. Aggrieved by the same, the petitioner is before this Court.
3. The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1, 4 and 5 would submit that the representation submitted by the petitioner for reclassification of the land to the first respondent will be forwarded to the 5th respondent for consideration.
4. In view of the limited prayer made by the petitioner seeking disposal of the representation, this Court, without going into the merits claim made by the petitioner, directs the first respondent to forward the representation of the petitioner to 5th respondent for consideration within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. The 5th respondent is directed to consider the representation forwarded to him within further period of eight weeks and dispose the same in accordance 3/6
with law.
5. With these directions, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
