ORDER

(Through video conference) The petitioner, who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 07.05.2021 for the offence punishable under Section 436 IPC, in Crime No.214 of 2021 on the file of the respondent police, seeks bail.

2.The case of the prosecution is that the defacto complainant is the Ex-lover of the petitioner and after her marriage she did not speak with him. The petitioner having enraged with the defacto complainant and due to previous enmity, he set fire to the vehicle of the defacto complainant's husband. Hence the case. 3.The learned counsel for the petitioner submit that the petitioner is innocent and he is no way connected with the alleged offence and he has been falsely implicated in this case and the petitioner has been in jail from 07.05.2021. Therefore, he prays to grant bail to the petitioner.

4.The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondent would vehemently oppose stating that the petitioner and the defacto complainant was in love with each other and that he was ready to marry her but she refused to marry the petitioner and married another person. He would submit that since the petitioner is being the Ex-lover of the defacto complainant and enraged over the same, the petitioner had set fire to the bike of the defacto complainant's husband.

5.Taking into consideration, the submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) and considering the nature of the offence and also the petitioner was arrested very recently, this Court feels that it is not a fit case for grant of bail to the petitioner.
