Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to dispose of the representation of the petitioner dated 26.06.2015 and further direct the respondents to break open the seal put up by the respondents in the residence of the petitioner.

By consent, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal. 2.The petitioner claims that the premises bearing door no.62 (Survey No.470/1), Vanniyar Street, Ambattur Kuppam, Chennai - 53 belong to his deceased wife namely Kuppa Bai, who intrun got the property by way of partition deed bearing document no.1321/1993 dated 12.03.1993 and the petitioner would state that after the demise of his wife, he continues to be in possession and enjoyment of the said property. The petitioner would further claim that he is also paying the statutory levies in respect of the property in question and whileso, on 07.05.2015 at about 1.30 p.m., the 4th respondent along with other officials without putting on notice and without issuing https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
any reason has barged into the premises and locked and sealed the premises.
The petitioner in this regard, has submitted a representation dated 26.06.2015 to the respondents 1 to 3 followed by a letter of correction dated 07.07.2015 and since no response is forthcoming came forward to file this writ petition. 3.Heard the submissions of Mr.R.Karthikeyan, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.V.Subbiah, learned Special Government Pleader who accepts notice on behalf of the respondents. 4.This Court taking into consideration the limited scope of the prayer sought for by the petitioner and without going into the merits of the same, directs the respondents 1 and 2 to consider and dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 26.06.2015 in accordance with law after putting on notice the persons concerned and pass orders within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision taken to the petitioner as well as the persons concerned.
5.The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is also closed.
