(The case has been heard through video conference) The petitioner, who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 06.04.2018 for the offences punishable under Section 320 IPC, in Crime No.230 of 2018, seeks bail. 2.The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) would submit that the petitioner is a notorious person and a habitual offender. He would further submit that the petitioner has 8 previous cases pending before various police stations in various crime numbers. The petitioner had cut his throat at the time of remand. He has the habit of inflicting injuries to himself. Hence, he vehemently opposes for the grant of bail to the petitioner. 3.Taking into consideration of the fact that the petitioner is a notorious criminal and has eight previous cases to his credit, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.
