..Respondents Prayer:- Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a Writ of mandamus directing the respondents 2 and 3 to complete the enquiry on the complaint of the petitioner dated 11.03.2016 and initiate appropriate action against the 4th respondent in accordance with law.

ORDER
By consent, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal.
Mr.C.T.Ramesh, learned Additional Government Pleader [Puducherry] accepts notice on behalf of the respondents.
The petitioner claims to be a retired Sub Inspector of Police and has submitted a detailed representation dated 11.03.2016 against the 4th respondent alleging misdeeds and misconduct, to the 2nd respondent on his part and prayed for appropriate action and since it is yet to be considered and
disposed of, the petitioner came forward to file the present writ petition.
The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the 4th respondent, by abusing his official position, is targeting the petitioner repeatedly and therefore, the petitioner was constrained to submit the above said representation and though it was received and acknowledged, action is yet to be taken and hence, the petitioner is constrained to approach this Court, by filing the present writ petition.
Per contra, Mr.C.T.Ramesh, learned Additional Government Pleader [Puducherry] appearing for the respondents, on instructions, would submit that the Government of Puducherry has passed G.O.Ms.No.54, Police Department, dated 06.10.2016, constituting a Redressal Committee headed by Mr. Justice G.Rajasuria [Retired Judge, High Court, Madras] and if the petitioner is really aggrieved, he can move the said authority.
This Court has considered the rival submissions and also perused the materials placed before it.
This Court, in the light of the submissions made and taking into consideration the facts and circumstances and without going into the merits of the claim projected by the petitioner, permits the petitioner to approach the Grievance Redressal Committee constituted by the Government of Puducherry, under G.O.Ms.No.54, Police Department, dated 06.10.2016, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and the said authority, on receipt of the representation, shall entertain the same, if the papers are otherwise in order and after putting on the 4th respondent on notice, shall give disposal, as expeditiously as possible and communicate the decision taken, to the petitioner as well as 4th respondent herein.
The writ petition stands disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
