O R D E R

(This case has been heard through video conference) The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offences punishable under Sections 294(b), 323, 506(ii) of IPC r/w Section 4 of TN Women Harassment Act, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondent Police submitted that the petition enquiry is pending in C.S.R.No.173 of 2021 dated 21.05.2021 against the petitioner.

3. The learned Counsel for the petitioner submitted that the respondent police is harassing the petitioner under the guise of enquiry.

4. Considering the facts and circumstances, the respondent police is directed to conduct the enquiry and if any prima facie case is made out against the petitioner, register the F.I.R or close the petition enquiry within a period of three weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The petitioner is directed to cooperate with the enquiry.

5. Recording the same, this Criminal Original petition is closed. The petitioner shall not be arrested by the respondent / police till the completion of enquiry.
