The prayer in the writ petition is for issuance of a writ of Mandamus, directing the first respondent herein to consider the petitioner's representation dated 27.09.2018.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner made a representation to the first respondent/Collector, Villupuram district, Villupuram on 27.09.2018, by stating that the civil suit is pending between the parties and he also filed an I.A. in the said suit and the said application is also still pending.

3. The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 5 submitted that the authorities will consider the said application on merits and in accordance with law and providing an opportunity to the parties concerned.

4. Without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, the 1st respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 27.09.2018 on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after providing opportunity to the parties concerned. With the above observation the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
