ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for the issue of writ of Mandamus directing the respondent to deal with the representation made by the petitioner on 05.02.2024 wherein the petitioner is seeking for issuance of joint patta with respect to the subject property.

Heard Mr.K.Rajkumar for Mr.R. Bharath Kumar, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.P.Sathish, learned Additional Government Pleader for respondent.

The case of the petitioenr is that originally the patta stood in the name of his father and after his demise, the property was inherited by his legal heirs including the petitioner. The petitioner submitted a representation seeking for joint patta and since the same was not considered, the present writ petition has been filed seeking for appropriate directions.

In the considered view of this Court, the petitioner has to make an online application seeking for joint patta by providing all the necessary particulars. On receipt of the same, the respondent shall act upon the on-line application and pass appropriate orders, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of the on-line application.

This writ petition is disposed of with the above directions. No costs.
