O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to set aside the order dated 26.07.2024 passed in Crl.M.P.No.39551 of 2024 by the Metropolitan Magistrate for exclusive trial of CCB Cases relating to cheating cases in Chennai and CBCID Metro Cases at Chennai.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side and perused the materials available on record.

3. It is seen from the records that the petitioner was arrested for the offence under Sections 406, 420, 465, 467, 468, 471, 120(B) and 34 of IPC and was remanded to judicial custody. During the investigation, the respondent police seized the petitioner's Company's Fuij White Colour Jaguar XE 2.0L Diesel Portfoli Car bearing Registration No.TN-06-X2030. Consequently, the petitioner, on behalf of the petitioner's Company, filed a petition in Crl.M.P.No.55502 of 2024 seeking return of the property. The Trial Court, by an order dated 22.02.2024, directed the petitioner to deposit a sum of Rs.50,00,000/- for the release of the aforesaid vehicle, along with two surety for the like sum, to the satisfaction of this Court. Subsequently, the petitioner filed a petition in Crl.M.P.No.39551 of 2024 to modify the condition imposed

in Crl.M.P.No.55502 of 2024 dated 22.02.2024. However, the Trial Court, by an order dated 26.07.2024, dismissed the petition. Hence, the petitioner is before this Court.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court finds no ground to set aside the order dated 26.07.2024 passed in Crl.M.P.No.39551 of 2024 by the Metropolitan Magistrate for exclusive trial of CCB Cases relating to cheating cases in Chennai and CBCID Metro Cases at Chennai. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed.
