The petitioner herein, who has given a complaint through post on 31.03.2024 alleging that his estranged wife along with his son forcing him to stay away from Sriperumbudur, is now before this Court stating that the respondent police is harassing him.

However, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police states that based on the complaint given by the petitioner, he was called for enquiry. Without participating in the enquiry, he approached this Court filing this petition as if police is harassing.

Calling the complainant for enquiry cannot be considered as harassment. Without participating to the enquiry initiated on his complaint, the petitioner made vile allegation against the police is before this Court alleging that he should not be harassed. Without participating in the enquiry, the police cannot reach any conclusion about the verocity of this complaint. Hence mere allegation is that he is forced to leave away from the jurisdiction of Sriperumbudur cannot be entertained. Hence this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. 16.04.2024 Index : Yes/No rpl 2/4
