This petition has been filed to call for the records relating to the proceedings of M.P.No.1166 of 2010 pending on the file of the XVIII Metropolitan Magistrate, Saidapet, Chennai 15, quash the same.

2. The petitioner is the father-in-law of the respondent. The respondent has initiated proceedings under the Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act, against her husband and the present petitioner.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner reported that the respondent expired on 05.06.2016, and produced a copy of the Death Certificate.
