O R D E R

The petitioner has come up with this writ petition seeking a direction to the respondents to take appropriate actions on

the petitioner's representation dated 03.08.2016 and release the death compensation amount due to the death of her son.

2. According to the learned counsel for the petitioner, the petitioner has submitted a representation dated 03.08.2016, to the respondents, claiming the same relief as prayed in this writ petition, but, the said representation is yet to be disposed of by the respondents. Hence, the petitioner is before this Court.

3. Mr.V.Jayaprakash Narayanan, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents, submitted that the respondents may be directed to consider the petitioner's representation dated 03.08.2016 and pass orders in accordance with law.

4. Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side and also taking into consideration the limited prayer sought for in the writ petition, this Court directs the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 03.08.2016 and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, after affording due opportunity of hearing to the petitioner, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. Accordingly, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
