[ Respondents ] Writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a writ of mandamus to direct the Respondents to prepare regular panel for the year 2005-2006 onwards for promotion to the post of Regional Transport Officer regularize his services so as to enable the petitioner to get further promotion as Deputy Transport Commissioner by considering the representation dated 1.7.2013 made by the petitioner.

With the consent of the learned counsel appearing on either side, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

2.The petitioner has filed this Writ Petition seeking for a direction to the respondents to prepare regular panel for the year 2005-2006 onwards for promotion to the post of Regional Transport Officer and regularize his services so as to enable him to get further promotion as Deputy Transport Commissioner, by considering the representation dated 1.7.2013 made by him. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

3.In view of the limited scope of the prayer made by the petitioner, the first respondent is directed to consider the representation submitted by the petitioner dated 01.07.2013, and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
