ORDER
This writ petition has been filed for the issue of writ of Mandamus directing the 1 st respondent to dispose of the revision petition dated 14.04.2024 within the time frame fixed by this Court.

Heard M/s.B.Sharmila, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.A.Selvendran, learned Special Government Pleader for 1 st respondent.

The petitioner was aggrieved by the order passed by the Revenue Divisional Officer and filed a revision petition before the 1 st respondent. On receipt of the same, notice was also issued by the 1 st respondent calling for an enquiry and thereafter, there was no progress. It is under these circumstances, the present writ petition has been filed before this Court seeking for appropriate directions.

Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and considering the materials placed before this Court, there shall be a direction to the 1 st respondent to deal with the revision petition filed by the petitioner on 14.04.2024 on its own merits and in accordance with law after affording opportunity to the 2 nd respondent and final orders shall be passed within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5.
This writ petition is disposed of with the above directions. No costs.
