O R D E R

The writ petition has been filed seeking issuance of Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus calling for the records of the first respondent pertaining to order dated 22.06.2023 suspending the petitioner and quash the same and consequently direct the first respondent to permit the petitioner to continue his fourth year Pharm.D Course commencing from the academic year 2024-25 within a time frame. 2.Though the present writ petition is challenging the suspension order dated 22.06.2023, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner restricted his prayer that if the respondents conclude the disciplinary proceedings within a reasonable time, it would satisfy the petitioner.

3.At this juncture, the learned counsel appearing for the respondents would submit that the respondents would conclude the disciplinary proceedings within a reasonable time. 2/4

4.In such view of the submission, this Court, without going into the merits of the matter, deems it appropriate to direct the first respondent to conclude the disciplinary proceedings initiated against the petitioner, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, according to its own merits and in accordance with law. It is made clear that the first respondent is directed to afford sufficient opportunity to the petitioner. The petitioner is directed to co-operate with the first respondent to conclude the disciplinary proceedings within the stipulated time.
