Respondents Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for a writ of mandamus directing the respondents herein to include the name of the petitioner in the panel for promotion for the post of B.T.Assistant (Science) in west Arni Union as on 01.01.2018 by taking in to account the results were held in August 2016 as the date that the petitioner as acquired the qualification B.Sc (Science) and consequently promote the petitioner to the post B.T.Assistant (Science).

ORDER

The petitioner herein seeks direction of this Court to include her name in the panel for promotion to the post of B.T.Assistant (Science) as on 01.01.2018.

2. It is contended by the petitioner that though she qualified herself as early as August 2016, since she could not produce the degree certificate at the time of drawing the panel, her name has not been considered.

3. The learned Government Advocate submits that only provisional certificate was produced by the petitioner herein, which made them not to consider her name. If the petitioner is otherwise eligible and able to produce the degree certificate, https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

the authorities will consider her name in the panel of promotion.

4. If the reason for not including the petitioner in the panel is because of non production of degree certificate and if the provisional degree certificate has already been produced by her, the respondents herein shall consider her name to be included in the promotional panel, if she is otherwise eligible.

5. The writ petition stands disposed of with the above observation. No costs. Consequently connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
