ORDER

The petitioner who was arrested on 21.01.2021 and remanded to judicial custody on 22.01.2021 for the offences punishable under Sections 8(C), 20(ii)(b)(C), 25, 29(1) of N.D.P.S.Act, 1985, in Cr.No.4 of 2021 on the file of the respondent police, seeks bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner was found in illegal possession of 75 kg Ganja. Hence, the complaint was registered.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is no way connected with the alleged offence and he has been falsely implicated in this case and the petitioner has been in jail from 22.01.2021 Therefore, he prays to grant bail to the petitioner.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) would submit that the investigation is almost completed and the charge sheet is yet to be filed. Hence, he vehemently opposed for grant of bail to the petitioner.

5. Having regard to the nature of allegations and considering the fact that the petitioner is involved in very serious offence, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.
