ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the respondent to grant spare mini bus permit to the petitioner based on his representation dated 02.02.2026, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. Page No.1 of 4

2. Ms.C.Meera Arumugam, learned Additional Government Pleader, accepts notice on behalf of the respondent.

3. The petitioner claims that he had submitted an application with the respondent on 02.02.2026 seeking grant of spare mini bus permit for the mini bus morefully disclosed in the affidavit filed in support of this writ petition. Since the said application was not considered, the petitioner has filed this writ petition.

4. No prejudice would be caused to the respondent, if the petitioner's application as stated supra is considered on merits and in accordance with law, after giving due consideration to the supporting documents produced by the petitioner, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

5. For the foregoing reasons, this Writ Petition is disposed of by directing the respondent to pass final orders on merits and in accordance with law on the petitioner's application, dated 02.02.2026, seeking grant of spare mini bus permit for the mini bus morefully disclosed in the affidavit filed in support of this writ petition, within a period of four (4) Page No.2 of 4

weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after giving due consideration to the supporting documents produced by the petitioner. No costs.
