Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to give permission to conduct a festival program of SRI PILLAIYAR SRI PONNIAMMAN TEMPLE THIRUVIZHA at Karasamangalam Cross Road, Katpadi Taluk, Vellore District, schedule to be held on 23.04.2019 in yearly festival in a Village, by consider the representation dated 10.04.2019.

Mr.J.Purushothaman Government Advocate O R D E R Mr.J.Purushothaman, learned Government Advocate takes notice for the respondents. By consent of the parties, this main writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

2. The petitioner seeks for a Mandamus directing the respondents to give permission to conduct festival program of SRI PILLAIYAR SRI PONNIAMMAN TEMPLE THIRUVIZHA at Karasamangalam Cross Road, Katpadi Taluk, Vellore District, scheduled to be held on 23.04.2019, by considering his representation dated 10.04.2019.

3. The learned Government Advocate, who takes notice for the respondents submitted that already a circular memorandum dated 31.10.2018 has been issued by the Director General of Police to all the Station House Officers/Inspectors indicating the conditions to be imposed while considering the grant of permission to "Aadal Padal Programme". Therefore, he submitted that the petitioner's representation will be considered by the second respondent in the light of the Circular already issued by the Director General of Police dated 31.10.2018.

4. Recording the above said submission, this Writ Petition is disposed of, by directing the second respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 10.04.2019 and pass orders on the same on merits and in accordance with law on or before 20.04.2019. No costs.
